Does it work with YouTube videos that have music or copyrighted background?+
AlcheClip downloads the source you provide. If your YouTube upload has third-party music or content you don't own the rights to, that's still your responsibility on the platforms you post to. Stick to your own footage.
Will the clips count as Shorts on YouTube?+
Yes. AlcheClip outputs 1080×1920 9:16 MP4s under 60 seconds — exactly the Shorts format. Upload through the regular YouTube upload flow and YouTube classifies them as Shorts automatically.
What if my video is longer than 15 minutes?+
The MVP caps source length at 15 minutes. For longer videos, run multiple jobs against different segments (e.g. each chapter), or wait for the longer-video tier we're working on.
